Mission Statement

Create opportunities for success by connecting businesses to a quality workforce


To effectively connect a world class workforce that meetings the needs and exceeds the expectations of our partners in the Adams County Business Community

The Workforce Development Board (WDB) is composed of community leaders dedicated to workforce development. The members of the Adams County WDB are representatives of private industry, nonprofits and public agencies. The Workforce Development Board is mandated by federal legislation to oversee public investments in employment and training programs. This responsibility is accomplished through the activities of the Adams County Workforce and Business Center.

Workforce Development Board Meetings

The Workforce Development Board meets from 8–9:30 a.m. at the Adams County Government Center. Meeting dates for the 2016–2017 season are:
