To effectively connect a world-class workforce that meetings the needs and exceeds the expectations of our partners in the Adams County Business Community
The Workforce Development Board (WDB) is composed of community leaders dedicated to workforce development. The members of the Adams County WDB are representatives of private industry, nonprofits, and public agencies. The Workforce Development Board is mandated by federal legislation to oversee public investments in employment and training programs. This responsibility is accomplished through the activities of the Adams County Workforce and Business Center.
The Adams County Workforce Development Board is soliciting public comments regarding the Adams County Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Regional and Local Plans. The WIOA plan for Program Years (PY) 2020-2023 is available for public comment beginning Wednesday June 17, 2020 through Saturday, July 18, 2020.
Please submit comments by email with the subject WIOA Four-Year Plan Public Comment to Yvonne Castillo by midnight July 18, 2020.
Workforce Development Board Meetings
The Workforce Development Board meets from 8–9:30 a.m. at the Adams County Government Center. Minutes will be linked as they are available. Meeting dates for the 2019-2020 season are:
