Commissioner Eva J. Henry Elected Board Chair

The Adams County Board of Commissioners today elected Eva J. Henry to serve as board chair for 2017. This election marks Commissioner Henry’s second term in the role of Chair of the Board of County Commissioners. Henry, who represents District 1, also served in this capacity in 2013. Commissioner Charles “Chaz” Tedesco (District 2) was elected to serve as vice-chair.

“I am honored that my peers have once again placed their trust in me to serve in this role as we continue the progress toward increasing service delivery to our residents,” said Commissioner Henry. “As a board, we are ready to continue our work with residents and the business community on the important issues across the county.”

Commissioner Henry was elected to the Adams County Board of Commissioners in 2012 after serving her community as the Mayor Pro Tem and city council member for the City of Thornton. She serves on Denver Regional Council of Governments, Adams County Housing Authority, Airport Coordinating Committee, Metro Vision, DRCOG Administrative Committee, Precious Child Committee, and Children Outreach Project Board.
