The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) has released the latest update to Colorado’s COVID-19 dial framework - Dial 3.0. The updated dial public health order went into effect Wednesday, March 24.
Adams County Sheriff Rick Reigenborn announced Adams County will be moving from Level 1 Fire Restrictions to No Restrictions effective immediately based upon the current fire weather conditions in Adams County. The Fire Conditions will be updated as necessary pending changing fire weather conditions.
DENVER - Today, Governor Jared Polis ordered flags lowered to half-staff on all public buildings statewide now until sunset on April 1 to honor and remember the victims of the shooting at the King Soopers grocery store at the Table Mesa Shopping Center in Boulder. Flags will be lowered for 10 days to remember each of the 10 individuals who lost their lives.

The Water World COVID-19 testing site, located at 8801 N. Pecos St., Federal Heights, will close operations Thursday, March 25. The last day for testing will be Wednesday, March 24, at 7 p.m.
Visitors who get a COVID-19 test the week of March 21 will still receive their test results in approximately two to four days, by creating a Luminate account, where they will receive their results.
Due to inclement weather, all county buildings and all county operations will be closed on Monday, March 15, including the offices of District Attorney, Justice Center, and Probation.

Due to likely extreme weather conditions this weekend, the free Water World COVID-19 Testing Site will be closed on Saturday, March 13, and Sunday, March 14.
Brian Staley has been named Director of the Adams County Public Works Department.
Staley previously served for nearly three years as the Public Works deputy director and senior traffic engineer. He brings more than 22 years of organizational leadership experience to this position. Staley earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in civil engineering from the University of Colorado. He is also a registered professional engineer with the State of Colorado and achieved certifications as a professional traffic operations engineer and road safety professional.
Governor Jared Polis recently announced the appointment of Commissioner Charles “Chaz” Tedesco to the Colorado Aeronautical Board (CAB), through Dec. 19, 2022.
The CAB assesses the state's aviation needs and makes recommendations to the Director of the Division of Aeronautics within the Department of Transportation. Tedesco will serve as a representative of a local government that operates airports on the eastern slope.
