On Thursday, Aug. 1, ERNEST, with special guest Jon Langston, will perform on the United Power Grandstand at 8 p.m., following Professional Bull Riding (PBR) at 6 p.m. Thursday is also 4-H appreciation night, and $4 from each ticket sold will benefit Adams County 4-H. The evening is sponsored by Brannan Aggregates.

Nate Smith is a California native whose  music features a mix of gritty backwoods soul, rock ‘n roll swagger, and velvet-thunder vocals. Named as “perhaps county music’s fastest-rising beloved voice” by The Tennessean, Smith has made a splash with popular hits “Whiskey On You,” which hit No. 1 and was lauded as the “breakup song of the summer” by Country Now, as well as “World On Fire,” which is currently Top 5 and climbing on country radio.

Kassi Ashton blends a little bit of rock, a lot of soul, and a throwback R&B groove in her music. Ashton has been named in multiple “Ones to Watch” lists by Huffington Post, The Tennessean, and juggernaut radio personality Bobby Bones, and she recently earned her first ACM nomination for New Female Artist of the Year. With songs including “Drive You Out Of My Mind,” “Called Crazy,” and “Dates In Pickup Trucks,” Kassi has also toured with country all-stars including Old Dominion and Maren Morris.

Nashville’s most unpredictable hitmaker ERNEST is a triple-threat talent and one of Music City's on-the-rise artist/writer who is changing the status quo. The two-time 2024 ACM Award nominee and Variety Hitmaker fuses influences ranging from Eminem to George Jones, crafting a twist-heavy verse style that's become his signature as a writer, proving its mettle, and earning him nine No. 1 hits to date. Paying homage in name, and sonically, to his hometown city, the eccentric free spirit and two-time CMA Triple Play Award winner will release his highly anticipated 26-track sophomore album, NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE, on April 12.

The epitome of a grassroots county star, Jon Langston released his first song and lost-in-love ballad “Forever Girl” in 2013. Ever since then, he’s been on a mission to grow as both an artist and man, working with some of country’s modern icons. A Georgia native schooled on 90s country, classic rock, Southern rap, R&B, and more, his efforts have produced three Extended Plays (EP), a No. 1 all-genre iTunes Debut, “When It Comes To Loving You,” and more than half a billion global streams. Langston made his Grand Ole Opry debut in 2022 and secured a spot in his mentor Luke Bryan’s annual tour. Other songs by Langston include “Whiskey Does,” “Ain’t No Cowboy,” “Forever Girl,” and “Heart On Ice.”
