Federal Boulevard Multimodal Transportation Study
The cities of Westminster and Federal Heights and Adams County have partnered to comprehensively study Federal Boulevard from 120th Avenue to the Denver city limits (52nd Avenue). Join the discussion here.
Interstate 270 Environmental Assessment
The Colorado DOT has partnered with Adams County and Commerce City to perform required environmental assessments along I-270 from I-25 to I-76 to improve mobility and operations corridor wide. Learn more here.

Cities and Counties across the northern metro region come together to discuss transportation needs and provide a variety of rideshare and commuting options. Learn more here.
RTD N Line
Connecting the North Metro region to Union Station, the N Line gives North Metro population connections to destinations throughout the Denver metropolitan area. Get schedule and ridership information here.
Regional Coordination
Adams County is participating and partnering with state and/or local agencies to address transportation issues on a number of corridors throughout the county. Some of the corridors where the county is actively participating include:
- SH 7, Boulder to Brighton Corridor (CDOT)
- I-70 at Piccadilly Road (Aurora)
- I-70 at Watkins/Airpark (Aurora)
- US 85 at 120th Avenue (Commerce City, Brighton)
- Vasquez Boulevard, I-270 to 64th Avenue (Commerce City)
- 104th Avenue, Colorado Boulevard to US 85 (Thornton)

The ADCOG Forum presented the Subregional Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) project prioritization list to the DRCOG board at their April 17, 2019, meeting. The remaining steps for the TIP approval process are:
