Japan-based PD AeroSpace Visits Adams County

Adams County welcomed representatives from Japan-based PD AeroSpace on their first visit to the Adams County Government Center in Brighton on Wednesday, July 25. PD AeroSpace signed a letter of intent with Adams County in April to operate their reusable sub-orbital spaceplane, currently in development, at Colorado Air and Space Port.

During public hearing on Tuesday, the Board of County Commissioners proclaimed the week of July 24-30 as PD AeroSpace week in Adams County. While in Colorado, the Japanese delegation will tour regional points of interest including the Space Port site, Bromley Farm/Koizuma-Hishinuma Farm, University of Colorado Boulder, and Colorado School of Mines, and attend a Rockies game at Coors Field.

The group will finish with a private Summer Showcase at Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum on Tuesday, July 30, which will include panels, networking, and remarks by Gov. Jared Polis, Lt. Gov. Dianne Primavera, and Reps. Ed Perlmutter and Jason Crow.
