Health Alert: 2019 Novel Coronavirus

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is closely monitoring an outbreak of respiratory illness caused by a novel (new) coronavirus named 2019-nCoV that was first detected in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China and which continues to expand. Chinese health officials have reported thousands of infections with 2019-nCoV in China, with the virus reportedly spreading from person-to-person in many parts of that country.

Adams County Is Asking Residents to Share Their Housing Experience

Adams County is asking residents to share information about their housing decisions and needs to help with the county housing needs assessment. Adams County receives funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and is conducting a study to better understand residents’ housing decisions and experiences living and working in the county and its cities. This survey is an important piece of the research for this housing assessment in gathering information about residents’ experiences, such as:

Adams Hollow Disc Golf Course Temporarily Reopened

Adams Hollow Disc Golf Course has reopened temporarily seven days a week while construction around the course is paused due to weather. Once crews begin construction again, we will notify residents of the second Adams Hollow closure and will officially reopen the course once construction is complete. Adams County Offers Free Income Tax Counseling Service

Adams County continues the tradition of sponsoring the free federal and state income tax preparation program to individuals and families with a combined income of $56,000 or less who need help preparing their tax returns. Working with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the state of Colorado, volunteers who have been trained and certified by the IRS provide basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing.
