Application Information

The Adams County Human Resources Department accepts applications for current job openings only. All applicants must complete an Adams County employment application. After submitting an Adams County employment application, you will be receive an automatic response when it is received. Only authorized employees and hiring authorities have access to the information submitted. Applications are accepted until closing dates shown on the position listing.

Process

Applications are screened by the Human Resources Department and forwarded to the appropriate department or elected office, usually within one week after the closing date. Candidates are selected for an interview and are typically contacted within the second or third week after the closing date.

After interviews are held, a decision is made and a job offer may be extended.
