Adams County was moved to the Severe Risk Red Level by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. The new restrictions will go into effect Friday, Nov. 20, at 5 p.m., and will remain in effect until Friday, Dec. 18.

Roadway / Bridge Maintenance / Snow Removal


Roadway maintenance activities include the following: 

  • Dust Control 
  • Patching, paving, potholing, grading  
  • Mowing weeds along the roadside  
  • Snow and ice removal  
    • When there is less than 8” of snowfall, Priority 1 and 2 road routes will be cleared  
    • When there is more than 8” or snowfall, only main arterial and collector roads will be cleared
