Application Process

Liquor licenses must be renewed yearly. The state sends out renewal applications several months prior to expiration of the license. Do not return renewal applications to the state.
All renewals should be filed with Adams County 45 days prior to the expiration of the license. The renewal application must be processed and approved by the county. Once approved, the application will be forwarded to the state. Please send the state renewal application and two checks (one made payable to the Colorado Department of Revenue and one made payable to Adams County) to:

What to Do If You Lose Your Renewal Application

If you lose your renewal application or for some reason you do not receive it, print and complete Form DR 8400 and submit with two checks to the address above.
