Bus Changes Affected by the G Line Opening
Bus changes affected by the G Line opening go into effect with RTD’s regular August service changes on Sunday
The Regional Transportation District (RTD) will implement its August service changes Sunday, Aug. 25. Because of the opening of the G Line, some routes will be discontinued or deviated starting on Sunday as well. RTD service changes are applied three times per year to improve the overall quality and efficiency of the agency’s system. These changes update service for passengers and enable better connections with bus, light rail and specialty services across communities.
August service changes include the following:
0, 0L, 3L, 4, 6, 10, 20, 28, 31, 33, 36L, 43, 46, 48, 66, 83L, 100L, 120, 135, 139, 206, 209, 225/225D/225E, 228, DASH, SKIP, STAMPEDE, Broomfield FlexRide, Golden FlexRide, Platte Valley FlexRide, Superior FlexRide
The new Platte Valley FlexRide will replace service on Route 33. Trips will match the Route 33 with the same service times and alignment except the FlexRide will travel on Lipan Street rather than Kalamath Street.
RTD started enforcing parking fees at the Park-n-Rides along the G Line on Aug. 1. It’s free for in-District residents for the first 24-hour period every day you park. For parking that extends beyond the first 24 hours, a $2 daily fee applies. If your vehicle is registered out of district, a $4 daily fee applies. You must pay before getting on the bus or train.
