We regret to inform you that the Equity and Justice Summit scheduled for May 18th and 19th has been postponed due to COVID-19. While this was a difficult decision, we want to do our part in preventing, slowing, and limiting its reach. Further updates about rescheduling this event will be announced. If you have questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
The goal of the Adams County Equity & Justice Summit is to instill curiosity and build engagement through our community and justice partners to promote expansive and progressive ideas. This summit is targeted at those in administrative and/or executive level positions. Attendees are welcome to join us for one of both days. The summit will be held on at the Adams County Government Center - Conference Center, 4430 S. Adams County Pkwy., Brighton.
Day one will build on the themes of gender, youth, health, poverty/homelessness/economic disparity, racial and ethnic disparity, and lived-experience panels. The target audiences for day one are advocates, educators, and criminal and social justice practitioners.
Day two will focus on multiple topics aimed at supporting everyone from front-line staff to commissioners and CEOs regarding how to engage in the discussion of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). This will offer a valuable opportunity for learning and dialogue about individual and systemic approaches to new and cutting-edge practices. If you are new to the DEI concepts, day two will provide general workshops to help get your feet wet in the conversation.
- Cost: $50 for one day, $80 to attend both days.
- A light breakfast, coffee, snacks and lunch will be provided.
- Registration links will be sent by email for day 1. If you have not filled out an interest form, please do so here.
