In Adams County we work together to ensure that we not only enjoy the neighborhoods today, but that our county will be here for future generations to come. Click on the links below to learn more about our neighborhood groups and what they are doing to safeguard our future.

Berkeley

The Berkeley neighborhood is an urban neighborhood with a host of historic homes. Each year the neighborhood hosts a large community clean up event. Regis University is also calls this neighborhood home and provides the community with a variety of sustainable events including: Earth Day Celebrations, community gardens, and free community wellness classes.

Goat Hill

The Goat Hill neighborhood is an urban neighborhood with a host of historic homes. You will find a host of residents that are historical gatekeepers to this community. This neighborhood hosts yearly cleanups and also benefits from its close proximity to Regis University.  Regis provides the community with a host of sustainable events including: Earth Day Celebrations, community gardens, and free community wellness classes.

Perl Mack/Sherrelwood Area

This neighborhood has an exciting blend of new and historic housing. It is home to longtime residents as well as newer residents who have happily called Adams County Home.  The Perl Mack Library in this neighborhood hosts a lovely community garden as well as provides information and events centered around the sustainable home owner. 

Utah Junction Area

This neighborhood has an exciting blend of new and historic housing. It is home to longtime residents as well as newer residents who have happily called Adams County Home.  The Perl Mack Library is in near to this neighborhood hosts a lovely community garden as well as provides information and events centered around the sustainable home owner. 

MidTown in Perl Mack Area

The MidTown development is a new residential community. They have an active social calendar which boasts monthly community events like, farmers markets and community garage sales. The community also has an active recycling and community garden program.   

Welby

The Welby neighborhood is an urban community with a historic farming heritage.  Each year the neighborhood has the Assumption Bazaar, Welby Days, and the Welby Heritage Gulf Tournament.  This neighborhood is passionate about bringing healthy local food connections to the area and supports a variety of programs focused on overall resident wellness.

Wadley Farms

The Wadley Farms community is a unique rural community. Residents in this area enjoy the opportunity to own horses and other opportunities to enjoy unique rural hobbies. The very nature of these neighborhoods in the northern parts of unincorporated Adam County  lend themselves to appreciate sustainable measures such as large home gardens and agricultural uses. The HOA page also provides additional information around community events and garage sales.

Box Elder Estates

The Box Elder Estates community is a rural community in the northeastern part of unincorporated Adams County. Many of the residents in this community flank large agricultural areas but benefit from more urban style residential development. The residents within the Box Elder HOA report a recycling program for the residents in their community. 

Prairie View Heights

The Prairie View Heights Community is in the Eastern portion of unincorporated Adams County. It has a rural community with a convenient commute to the urban corridors. Just outside of Watkins, CO residents in this residential community benefit from sustainable programs offered at their local Anythink Library and community events such as Bennett Days.
