What is Open Adams?

Open Adams is a way to collaborate, communicate, and improve government standards in Adams County. We are proud to serve the residents of Adams County and deliver expected services through the wise, judicious, and ethical use of Adams County resources and taxes; and by improving accountability, best practice, integrity and transparency of government and its processes for all Adams County.

There are five areas or themes within the Adams County Strategic Reform Plan:

• Structure 
• Policy / Procedure / Workflow 
• Continuous Improvement 

Open Adams is a web portal for Adams County residents, employees and governing bodies to:

• find out what is happening with the Strategic Reform Plan and the reforms implemented by the plan,
• find out how specific Adams County oversight processes are developing and put in place,
• and to get information about the progress of the Performance Management goals, objectives, and how well the alignment with Adams County budget is happening.

Adams County is committed to improving government standards and continuous progress. Open Adams is a way for all of us to know what is happening in Adams County in order to be an informed citizen and Adams County ambassador.
