Construction Management Services
Responsibilities
- Coordinating with the Engineering Section on design, cost estimates and construction phasing
- Advertising Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects; reviewing bids, contractor selection recommendations, budgets and contract negotiations; managing outside resources as needed, billing and reporting
- Directing utility coordination between Adams County and all utility companies within Adams County
- Ensuring that all construction within existing rights of way is properly reviewed and permitted and conforms to all known construction standards
- Overseeing the transportation management system
- Providing project management on all CIP, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and county projects
- Recommending subdivision acceptance to the Board of County Commissioners
- Reviewing and making recommendations to the annual departmental budget
- Reviewing construction, subdivision, drainage and over-lot grading plans
