Halfway Houses

Program Goals

Halfway houses provide services for individuals convicted of less severe offenses who are diverted from prison and for those who are in transition between prison and parole. The goal is to successfully reintegrate offenders back into society. The state provides funds to the 17th Judicial District (Adams and Broomfield counties) for halfway houses to provide services to offenders.

Contracted Residential Services

Adams County has entered into contracts with two private companies who provide residential community corrections services. Community Education Centers operates the Phoenix Center (a coed facility). The Time to Change Program operates a male facility.
