Establishing & Enforcing Medical Support

State Requirements

Adams County Child Support Services (CSS) realizes that medical coverage is just as important as financial support. Pursuant to Colorado statutes, all child support orders state that the noncustodial parent carry medical insurance for his/her children when it is available at a reasonable cost.

How We Can Help

Adams County CSS can establish an order for medical coverage even if you already have a child support order. As long as the noncustodial parent is offered insurance through their employer at a reasonable cost, we will enforce the order that the non-custodial parent provide medical coverage for the children.
