Community Enrichment Grant

This Adams County grant provides financial support to nonprofit and publicly supported organizations to operate programs and services that improve the health, well-being, and self-sufficiency of underserved, marginalized, or vulnerable people living in Adams County. This includes assisting residents with immediate needs or helping them to develop long term stability. The grant must be used to “directly serve” Adams County residents and funding requests must be based on the actual cost to serve Adams County residents. 

This is a competitive grant; Organizations must submit a complete application with all requested documents to be considered for funding. Applications are evaluated by the grant advisory committee and this committee makes a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners on grant awards. The highest grant award provided through this program in the last few years is $60,000; the lowest grant award was $4,200. Please read the application information sheet for more information.

Grant Schedule for 2024

• Organizations that received a grant in 2023 must submit a grant report by Friday, Jan. 19, 2024 by 5 p.m. The report (submitted by the deadline) is required for these organizations to be eligible for 2024 funds. 
• 2024 Application Submittal - Grant link will open late January or early February

Adams County will accept one application per organization. Only complete applications submitted by the deadline with the required attachments will be considered for funding.

Grant Report

Organizations that were awarded grants in 2023 must complete and submit the CEG Grant Report by the deadline. Submit grant report to [email protected].
