88th Avenue Open Space

The 88th Avenue Open Space Restoration and Enhancement Project will restore and enhance surface water, wetlands, groundwater, riparian and grassland habitat. The 88th Avenue Open Space is a 240-acre open space property. The Open Space is located along the west bank of the South Platte River between 88th Avenue and 96th Avenue. This project is being funded by grants from the Adams County Open Space Sales Tax, the Natural Resource Damage Trustees of the State of Colorado, the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District, and the Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife. 

Project Goal 

Develop public access facilities to allow Adams County citizens to enjoy the South Platte River and the natural habitat that will be restored.
